Nowadays information about a good health is abundantly available. It sometimes isn’t easy to make the right choices which help you to become fit and stay fit for a prolonged period of time. Nutrition, rest, recovery and psychology come into play when looking at your long term health. This Health week focusses on how to stay fit and provides you with a lot of tools to reach your health goals.

Lecture: Physical exercise, nutrition and recovery by Jochem Uytdehaage
Jochem Uytdehaage is a former Olympic ice-skating champion who is still active as an ice-skater. This former engineering student is skating for the foundation Skate4air, which funds research on cystic fibrosis disease. As a former elite sports man who can still be found on the ice, he can tell you all about how nutrition, physical exercise and rest influence your performance. Although he is an ice-skater at heart, the basics of sports is a (high intensity) workout followed up by a recover period. So, if you are not an ice-skater, please also feel welcome to join this lecture!
